Local Central Kentucky Awards
One student from each participating school will be named the Top Outstanding “Young Achiever” from their school during the 2024-2025 school year and receive:
- Press releases for media recognition will be sent to individual school district offices.
- “Gold Medallion” inscribed with the Young Achievers logo
- Young Achievers Certificate
- Young Achievers T-shirt
In addition, two students will be named:
- Central KY Middle School Young Achiever of the Year & receives a $250 Check
- Central KY Elementary School Young Achiever of the Year & receives a $250 Check
National Awards
National awards are presented each year by the International Leadership Network (ILN). ILN receives nominations from regional Young Achievers programs, educators and youth leaders. Many youth organizations including Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, 4-H and Junior Achievement encourage nominations of their members.
- National Middle School Young Achiever of the Year & receives a $100 Check
- National Elementary School Young Achiever of the Year & receives a $100 Check
Announcements of national winners will take place before the end of the 2024-2025 school year. We typically have a few central Kentucky students named as National Young Achievers each year!
Recent National Winners…
In 2021,
Quinton Hudson from Breckinridge Elementary was the national winner for “Elementary School Young Achiever of the Year.”
Owen Rogers from Edythe J. Hayes Middle was the national winner for “Middle School Young Achiever of the Year.”
